Mr. Geerman started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Dutch
Caribbean in 2011 in the Assurance department as an Associate. Throughout his 8 years at PwC Aruba. He was part of the newly initiated Risk Assurance Services department. As the manager of this department, Mr. Geerman oversaw teams consisting of usually more than 10 employees across 3 different islands at any given time.
The industries Mr. Geerman served vary greatly from government
related entities to the hospitality sector and some of the biggest financial institutions on the island. Following PwC Aruba, Mr. Geerman joined Stichting Algemeen Pensioenfonds Aruba (APFA). as their Officer Risk Management in 2018. Mr. Geerman holds more than a decade of experience in a variety of fields, including Internal Auditing, Financial Accounting, External Auditing, Management Consulting, Risk Management just to name a few. Mr. Geerman holds a Bachelor of Economics degree in Accountancy from the Arnhem Business School and a Master of Science (MSc.) degree from the Tilburg University. Furthermore. Mr. Geerman holds The designation of being a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
As the Partner of Legal Advisory Services at AXIOMA, Mrs. Rose-Ann Vrolijk applies her LL.M. and B.Sc. in a strategic capacity to guide complex legal initiatives. With her experience as a Policy Advisor and notable roles within the judiciary and infrastructure planning, she embodies a comprehensive legal expertise. Her academic achievements from the University of Aruba, featuring a Master of Laws, underpin her analytical prowess. Active in legal discourse, Mrs. Vrolijk’s insights on international legal matters reflect her commitment to staying at the forefront of legal trends. At AXIOMA, she leverages her extensive knowledge and communication skills to provide top-tier legal compliance and risk management services. Her role is pivotal in ensuring that AXIOMA’s clients navigate the legal landscape with confidence, receiving tailored, insightful advisory that aligns with both local and international standards. Mrs. Vrolijk’s leadership in the legal domain is integral to AXIOMA’s mission of delivering excellence in Legal Advisory Services.
Mr. Kelly obtained his CPA license in 2016 and has 10 years of 'Big 4' experience in the public accounting field. both in Aruba and the Netherlands. During his previous tenure in public accounting Mr. Kelly conducted and lead the audits of amongst others banks, hotels, automotive retailers, utility companies, airports, (semi-) governmental foundations and institutions, pharmacies and retailers. Mr. Kelly also has experience with forensic audits and other agreed upon attestation engagements in a wide range of financial and non-financial engagements,
including 'rechtmatigheidscontroles'.
Outside of public accounting, Mr. Kelly has over 3.5 years of experience as the Risk and Compliance Manager and the Financial Reporting and Control Manager of the Central Bank of Aruba. Mr. Kelly makes sure he is always independent, both in fact and in appearance with regards to all AXIOMA's clients and in accordance with the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct and the Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants as published by the International Federation of Accountants' International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants.
